We are honoured that the Mayor of Rotherham, Cllr Rukhsana Ismail, invited us as her guests to the town hall this August.

As Rotherham women, we are proud to have a first Muslim female mayor, a positive role model for all women.  She reflects the diversity of our wonderful town.  Cllr Ismail has inspired a generation of younger women from underrepresented groups who want to serve their community and hometown, Rotherham and take on public roles.
